The Maya Skippen Appeal

Return to homepage
Romford Ice Hockey Club is launching an appeal for one of our young supporters. Maya, who is seven years old, has been undergoing treatment for the last two years and now needs to travel to America to seek a cure for her condition - a malignant brain tumour called an ependymoma.

At the Raiders -v- Scimitars game on 22 March, we donated the proceeds from our 50/50 raffle. There was also a collection bucket at the entrance of the Arena.  The Raiders and management hope our contributions will help to get Maya the treatment she needs.

Many thanks

Romford Raiders management

Our very own fans favourite Mark Williams is yet again doing his bit for a good cause.  Mark is co-ordinating fundraising events on behalf of the Skippen family in an attempt to raise £50,000.
